Our Founder's Journey
.
"After 5 years of college and 3 years of business school, I got a job at a local chocolate company as a floor employee. They sponsored my green card, and I needed the opportunity.
I had ideas. A lot of them.
I saw clear ways to improve efficiency, streamline production, and boost sales. But every time I shared them, they were ignored.
Then, I started seeing those same ideas implemented - but without my involvement. It was frustrating, but it also proved something important: my ideas worked.
I realized that if I wanted a change, I had to prove my value in a way no one could ignore. I knew that if I could generate real sales, I’d gain leverage to drive real change.
As I worked my way up, I saw the bigger problem - departments and individuals were all marching in different directions. Talented employees weren’t the issue. The issue was misalignment. Marketing people wanted one thing, operations - another. Leadership had their own story. Instead of working together, people were stuck in a constant tug-of-war, slowing everything down.
One thing became clear: not all “bad employees” were actually bad. Some were just in the wrong roles. I hated firing people, but not firing them was even worse. Instead, I started moving people into positions that aligned with their skills and personalities. The results were impressive. People who had been underperforming suddenly thrived. I also made sure that EVERYONE is directly incentivized by company's performance - and it worked.
We weren’t just a local company anymore. As we expanded through 230 licenses and franchises, I worked with people from over 50 countries. And the same issues popped up everywhere. It didn’t matter the industry or culture; companies were full of talented people, but their results were far below their potential. Team misalignment wasn’t just an internal issue. It was a global business problem.
I kept looking for someone to fix it. An "Apple-style" approach to business team optimization. But it didn’t exist. So... I decided to build it. After years of R&D and millions spent, WeCo is here to help you make more money.
Now, I bring that same fire and obsession to helping other businesses maximize their teams, eliminate waste, and get every person working at their highest level. When your people are aligned, motivated, in the right roles, and working toward a shared goal - growth happens naturally."
